Sex Therapy Services
Sex therapy is a short-term, goal-oriented, psychotherapy treatment for treating a variety of sexual concerns. Sex therapy can address difficulties with sexual function, or problems with sexual feelings and intimacy — either in individual therapy or in joint therapy with your partner. Sex therapy can be effective for adults of any age, sex, or sexual orientation.
Please note: All appointments are conducted via TeleHealth to maximize convenience and flexibility.

CONDITIONS TREATED
Sex therapy starts with a comprehensive initial evaluation that assesses your medical background (including medical conditions, medication use, and substance use), mental health, social and relationship history, and cultural background. Treatment entails education, anxiety reduction and desensitization techniques, communication training, and a variety of evidence-based cognitive and behavioral interventions.
Dr. Harte understands that some people starting sex therapy may feel embarrassed or awkward at first. Dr. Harte always provides you with a supportive, nonjudgmental, and empowering atmosphere so you can achieve the sexual and emotional well-being you are striving for.
